So I don't think Ethan is totally behind this whole "blogging" thing, but I feel like it is a good opportunity for us to let our extended family and friends in on what we and the kiddos are up to. We have lived all over the US and have friends and family spread out all over the place!
So for those who haven't spoken to us in a while...we now live in Houston. We've been here for almost 3 years. Neither of us really like Houston, but we have good jobs and have a lot of help with the kids so we are sticking it out here...at least until Cristin gets her tenure and we can move again. We both work at Texas Children's Hospital. It is a fantastic place to work, and Cris loves her job.
We have 3 daughters. Kalea (Ethan's oldest) is now 9 years old. She is still living with her mom in Iowa. Jocelyn is 3. She loves to sing, dance, read, and play in the dirt. She speaks like a 6 year old. Obviously she is a talker just like Mom and Dad. Layla is 2 months old. She looks just like Jocelyn except darker complected. She is a fat, happy baby.
That's the short of what's up with us. Right now I have two sick kicks. Jocelyn has some kind of virus and it looks as though Layla is catching it too. Ethan is getting ready to go back to nights at work, which has its upside and downsides. He is a night owl, so it fits him. I have become OBSESSED with knitting. It makes me happy, so I am glad I finally found a hobby beyond being a book worm. I am still working on building this blog and making it fun...Enjoy!
